About Us
Surviving seasons of grief, trauma, and despair calls for strength, tenacity, and resilience.
To appropriate those, however, we need others to come alongside us and encourage us.
We need our social network to remind us of our value and worth. In short, we need others to remind us that we are treasured. As we grow and walk towards healing, we recognize that given the right support and encouragement, we can be triumphant.
Triumphant N Treasured offers this support and encouragement to widows and women who have endured a season of grief, trauma, and despair.
Realizing that other people KNOW what you are going through, and that you are not alone is a big part of your healing journey. You don’t have to walk this road alone because others have walked this road before you.
Cynthia Mascarenhas
Founder/CEO
Cynthia was widowed on February 4th, 2018, when she lost her husband of 29 years, Franz Mascarenhas, to a sudden heart attack. She met her husband in Bombay, India, fell in love, married and remained in love through the challenges and blessings of marriage. They successfully navigated the challenges of being newly weds and new immigrants to the USA.
Together they raised two beautiful daughters and raised them to be women who loved and feared the Lord.
Professionally, Cynthia is a Registered Nurse and Independent Legal Nurse Consultant. She also is a Master Certified Professional Life Coach with the International Coaching Federation. Her desire is to help widows and women who have survived trauma navigate the transitions in their life.
Cynthia has used her problem solving skills and heart of service to bring attention to the mostly unknown and unseen challenges faced by widows around the world. Her desire is to see the church embrace a widow as a member of the body of Christ, and reach out to help widows in the community as representative of the ‘hands and feet of Jesus’.
